The intense frost in colder months, especially if unexpected, always causes considerable discomfort and inconvenience to road traffic. Roads, airports, parking lots, and highways can become obstructed or dangerous because of heavy snowing. To make roads safe it is necessary to distribute salt and/or sand on private and public areas.

The Agrex Maxi sand distributers have a large tank to ensure high daily performance. The solid supporting structure allows a speed up to 40 km/h. The distributor group is composed of two discs with adjustable stainless steel radial vanes. The hopper bottom has a rubber conveyor belt to ensure a uniform distribution since the feed is regulated by a volumetric wheel which lies hydraulically on the distributor's big wheel.
